IN THE BEGINNING...It all started in 1992 when I bought a new Polaris SL 650 and thought that I was the hottest thing on the lake. Since then I have purchased a new craft every year and started modifying them to go faster.

THE FIRST RACE...I began racing off of a dare..."this old man could not go the distance in a two hour off shore endurance race". When I saw the waves at Ensenada I began to think I was crazy. I knew that either my ski or I was going to die....this time it was the ski, 70 minutes into the race and 2 miles off shore.

TRAINING AND CONDITIONING...My training program includes working out on a treadmill and lifting weights. I also ride my watercraft several hours each week. I also do not smoke, drink, or use drugs.

MY GOALS FOR 2000...To race as many races as possible, have fun, and provide a positive image for our sport.
