It's roughly a 5 mile run/walk/run again journey from the St. Sebs cemetary up the road to the church, oh yeah, and they do it shoeless!!!
The whole time they're yelling and screaming in Italian. My wife speaks, reads, and writes it fluently, as her parents are 100% Italian. They came over in 1945ish or so. You can tell by the pic that she got more of her fathers Northern Italian in her (blond hair, blue eyes) as opposed to her moms Sicilian traits.

My wife and her mom in the crowd.

Default Scoville Units

Every year I'll grow 1 or 2 Habanero pepper plants. They are very hot. One could say useless actually. lol... Hot peppers are rated for hotness in Scoville Units. The more Scoville Units, the hotter the pepper. As an example, a Jalapeno can reach 1K - 3K Scoville Units. A Habanero can reach and/or exceed 300K Scoville Units. The top of the food chain as far as hot peppers go, followed by the Scotch Bonnet. There is a pepper that reaches 1 million Scoville Units, but it's a synthetic pepper fabbed up in a chem lab and can't be included in the tests, as it's not natural and is man-made so-to-speak. Anyhow, I grow them just for fun. The only person I know that can nibble on these is my mother-n-law, and a few nuts I've seen on "Fear Factor". I do work with a young guy named John, who promises to eat one when they mature (about 3 months) some night when they're all sitting around drinking beer after work. I know him, and he will do it.... and you can bet that I'll be there with my video cam getting it all on tape.
I've attached a few pics of my start. They're looking good so far and I'll nurse these little babies to full maturity.

We do use them in cooking in the southwest...but half of one is about all you need for a family sized dish.

Personally, I prefer Hatch green chillis from New Mexico.

Well, I've been kind of lazy the last year or so with my bad back and all. You may remember that I was only able to squeeze like 2 rides in all last season, in mid May.
Today I went for my first ride since then. Pulled the GPR out. Threw the fresh battery in her and syphoned all the gas out of her. I stored it last season with Sta-Bil, but that don't mean chit these days. Topped her off with fresh stuff AND HIT THE RIVER!!!!!!! YAAAAAAAAAHOOOOOO!!! What beautiful wether we are having. She ran great and I took some video, but that won't be 'til later tonight. It's off being processed. I don't know how good it will be, as I used one of those CVS One Time use deals. We'll see.
Here's some stills. Nothing great. I took my junk camera in case I wound up in the drink!!!! (which I didn't)
It was great. It felt so good to be out there again. The river was nice, the GPR ran flawlessly, (and at a rather high RPM for a stocker I might add) and all went well.

Congrats!
Especially the part where you got back on the water.

I know standing is tough on my knees, but my back gets major strong without the pain, if I stand.

Thanks buddy!!! It was a wonderful morning.

I have some fairly extensive video that I'll post later Mark, but, she's breaking 7,300rpm every run.... those are hot numbers too. I'm thinking a stock Dynafly 14/20 as you've suggested. Just a few more hot weather runs first!!!
