Use a approx 4" spacer, "C" shaped. Use a flat round plate with a tube for sealing on back of intermediate housing. Front of Intermediate housing to be machined flat. Advantages: cheap. easy. Disadvantages: Hard to remove coupler assembly. Specialty parts: 5 assemblies 2ND OPTION: -Remove stringer. -Rivit ID tag to inner hull. -Build Support Bracket across 4 bolts to hold up intermediate housing. Advantages: cheap. easy to install. easy to remove. removes stringer for clearance. Disadvantages: Design could be tricky. Support is very precise. Needs to be adjustable for many hulls.
