SPLASHGUARD tips...

Overall Opinion: I think this was a good investment for rough water, or high wind riding/racing. It really cut down on the ultra-small bullets coming over the nose of the GPR. I did note that the port side of the guard, sometimes "tucks" under the rub rail. This may have been an install problem, caused by cutting too much material away from the rub rail.

Riva "Splash Guard". The instructions are not too clear. Good luck.

After the front bumper is removed, the stock rub rail looks like this.

-Inner cover is pulled back from rub rail. You can see where the stock screws go. The front bumper bolts thru.
The side rails are held in place with double sided tape, and wood-type screws. The front bumper "captures both side rails. Not a bad design.

Front bumper removed, port inner cover pulled back, and rub rail being pryed away from hull.

Glue left on area from side rub rail, doublesided tape. Clean this stuff away to help splash guard fit closer to hull.

Rivets are installed. Ready to place the inner cover back into the slot.

Before the front bumper can be installed, the side rub rail inner cover must be installed, with a little bit showing.

After assembly. Front bumper is slightly disfigured, from being pulled in farther than the side rails.

-Port side.

-Starboard side.

-Bow view.
